For Experienced Administrative Assistant reporting to the Owner
Beach Drive Business Office
St. Petersburg, FL 33701


Hours: This job offers flexibility to the mature employee who can manage their own work time. Mondays and Fridays are preferred, plus half day to equal 20 hours per
week.

Pay: Varies with qualifications, $17-$20 per hour. First review in 90 days with guaranteed increase. Telemarketing can earn you much more.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated Office Experience - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Dropbox, Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Organization, both paper and computer files
• Proofreading with accuracy
• Computer hardware and software working knowledge. Maintenance and updates for software. Virus scan and back up file management. Ability to troubleshoot PC,
printers and WiFi
• Professional communication by phone and in writing
• Key holder – responsible for opening & closing office
• Florida Life/Health Insurance License (2-15) is a plus

Job Duties:

• Organize and schedule meetings and appointments both in person and via phone
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Become familiar with insurance terminology, procedures, vendors and clients
• Develop policy options via provider websites for potential new clients
• Generate accurate letters, proposals, labels, spreadsheets, reports and presentations
• Stock all office supplies
• Identify prospective clients from periodicals, Sunbiz and internet research. Initiate contact via email, mail and/or telephone. Maintain excel spreadsheet of all calls
and corresponding updates
• Complete accurate paperwork i.e., rebate forms and registrations
• File, photocopy, shred, organize, distribute mail, and maintain contact lists
• Assist Owner with miscellaneous tasks as needed


Hiring Requirements:

1. Valid Drivers’ License and Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (fee paid)
2. Background check including references and criminal history
3. Must have own transportation
