Completing this course and passing the state exam makes you eligible for the 2-20 General Lines Agent license.
Time: 200 hours
This course covers concepts, statutes, and all lines of property and casualty insurance, including personal lines, commercial lines, health and surety bonds.
The 2-20 is the most complete license for property and casualty insurance. In addition to soliciting and servicing insurance, it allows the agent to open an agency, to be the agent in charge of an agency, and to supervise 4-40 CSRs.
With the 2-20, you can add the All Lines Adjuster license without taking another exam.
Many states grant license reciprocity (non-resident licenses) to 2-20 agents.
Take this course if you need licensing in all lines of property and casualty insurance and need to do any of the following: solicit outside the office, be paid primarily commissions, supervise or own and agency, gain as much knowledge of P&C insurance as possible prior to licensing.
